The Chaparrals played against Bryant & Stratton College (24-12) on April 22 for a doubleheader. In the first game, Bobcats had the lead for a majority of the game, until DuPage had the bases loaded, only to lose that opportunity by not scoring a run. The Chaps would lose the first game 2-7. After a 30 minute break, game two began and the Chaps never had a chance. They lost 5-14, with the game ending in the fifth inning because of the mercy rule.
Dupage left the doubleheader with a 18-14 record on the season. They are now looking ahead to the NJCAA Region IV Tourney on May 2 against Joliet Junior College in a best of three series.
