About The Courier

In 1967, College of DuPage was established, despite the lack of a campus. In the very same year, student journalists launched The Courier, a weekly newspaper covering COD through exceptional writing, quality photography, in-depth research and visually appealing design.

Ever since, The Courier’s mission has been to ethically, accurately and efficiently report, promote, and explain school and community issues, as well as analyze their impact on the student body. While the times have changed, we remain dedicated in telling the stories of the students, staff and community members that make COD the school it is today.

This is the Courier Student Newspaper’s official website.

This site is intended to inform fans about news and events reported by the Courier staff as well as foster discussion and a sense of community.
We welcome and encourage relevant comments from our fans that contribute to this mission. In return, we ask that our fans be respectful to each other and to the page administrators.

This policy may be adjusted, without notice, to reflect issues that may arise in the management and implementation of the page or for any other reason that supports the Courier’s priorities for the site.

The administrators of the Courier’s website regularly monitor the page and reserve the right to remove any external content posted on the page that is deemed inappropriate by the Courier staff, including but not limited to spam, offensive content, profanity, personal attacks, commercial advertisements, petitions or election campaign materials, or content that the Courier staff otherwise finds inappropriate. We also reserve the right to block anyone who repeatedly posts inappropriate content from posting on the site in the future.

Thank you for being a fan of the Courier! We look forward to hearing from you.
