In anticipation of snow, College of DuPage’s main campus and regional centers will open 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, the college announced Monday.

COD sent out an alert message of its decision to open late, citing predictions of heavy snow Monday evening into early Tuesday morning.

Most students likely will not be impacted by the delay, since classes for the semester have not started yet.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the Chicago area. Forecasters expect 2-4 inches of snow to fall, possibly resulting in “difficult travel.”
