The Courier will reintegrate an opinion section for its upcoming print issues this fall term.

College of DuPage’s student newspaper will run staff editorials, letters to the editor and guest columns. Last year, The Courier removed the section from its weekly print issues, going against a tradition established during the newspaper’s inception in 1967.

An editorial board including the editor-in-chief and opinion editor will convene weekly to form a majority opinion regarding campus issues and other topics.

The first print issue of the fall 2014 term will publish on Sept. 3.
