The College of DuPage women’s basketball team hosted their second breast cancer and prostate cancer awareness game on Feb. 18. The Chaparrals defeated the Harper Hawks 66-26. Sophomore Megan Martinez led the team scoring 14 points. Sophomore Makenna Brown added 12 points and seven rebounds. Sophomore Nala Taylor scored nine points and freshmen Jaylen Zachary and Cailey Salerno scored eights points respectively.
The Chaparrals have a 16-13 record and will compete in the NJCAA Region IV Tournament against South Suburban College Feb. 27 at PEC Arena.
