The College of DuPage men and women’s track teams traveled to Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill. to compete in the Walter Cramer Invite on Jan. 31. On the women’s side, Ellie Logsdon placed third in the 60-meter final with a time of 8.01 and second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.93. Carmen Solis earned fourth place in the mile with a time of 5:35.10. Elizabeth Conner placed 10 in hammer throw with a mark of 10.61 meters while also placing 17 in shot put with a mark of 7.52 meters. The 4×400-meter relay of Molly Morris, Olivia Brach, Allison Browne and Ellie Logsdon won with a time of 4:29.86. On the men’s side, Timothy McMiller and Jacob Gagne made it to the 60-meter finals placing third and seventh with times of 7.01 and 7.18. Karam Tajeddin also made it to the 60-meter high hurdle final finish sixth with a time of 9.39. Tajeddin also placed third in triple jump with a mark of 12.76m. Ronan Corenlius won high jump with a mark of 1.98m and placed fourth in long jump with a mark of 6.41m. William Kallas took second in pole vault earning a mark of 4.45 meters. Weston White and Elijah Phipps competed in the 200-meter dash placing fourth and sixth with times of 22.87 and 22.97.
The team will compete at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. on Feb. 8.
