The College of Dupage women’s volleyball team faced off against Highland Community College on Oct. 17. COD managed to win 3-2 in sets, but all sets were close by scores of 20-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-22 and 15-10. The two teams spent the game in a hard battle for control, tying their scores often in each set. The Chaps managed to pull ahead in the final two sets for the win. The team finished with 53 total kills, with sophomore Josephine Becker leading the charge with 19 kills.
The Chaparrals left the game with a 17-12 record. The teams returned to COD for their next home game against Joliet Junior College on Oct. 22.
