The COD women’s volleyball team hosted the COD Invitational on Sept. 5 through Sept. 7. The Chaps fought five games over the three days, each against a different team, and ended with a tournament record of 2-3 and an overall record of 7-4.
The first game the Chaps played was on Sept. 5 against Dallas College North Lake. COD fought hard in four sets against the Blazers, but only managed to win one set to the Blazers’ three. The final score sets were 23-25, 25-21, 22–25 and 22-25. Caytlin Johns led the team with 10 kills, Josephine Becker led with four aces and Francesca Brandonisio led with 24 digs.
