I attended McKee Marsh on Sunday morning, for a community tree planting. The trees were purchased and planted by the DuPage Birding Club members to restore resources for native birds. Despite the cold weather, about thirty volunteers came to plant trees and bushes! The park district supplied orange juice, shovels, and other tools for the volunteers.
