Student elections: Roark elected student trustee

Stahl wins student body president, Hernandez gets student body vice president

The results of the 2015 College of DuPage Student Leadership Council election have been released.

Gloria Roark received 184 votes, beating out Joshua Clayton for student trustee. Clayton received 136 votes. 18 write-in votes were received for the trustee position.

Joe Stahl, receiving 186 votes, won the student president position over his opponent Dana Nuestro. Nuestro received 130. There were 22 write-in votes received for this position.

Miguel Hernandez won the student vice president position over Denise Calma, receiving 232 votes. Calma received 81. There 25 write-in votes received for this position.

338 votes were received in total. This is lower than last year’s total of 461. Notably, this is the first year the elections were held via ChapLife.
