College of DuPage is a public institution in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Its main campus is located in Glen Ellyn and it accommodates more than 28,000 students that frequent the main campus and four regional centers Carol Stream, Addison, Naperville and Westmont each semester. Among the state’s public colleges and universities, College of DuPage, is the second largest provider of undergraduate education in the State of Illinois, after University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The school utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. College of DuPage offers more than 90 certificates programs and degrees for today’s occupational and technical careers, and nine associate’s degrees in 59 occupational and 45 transfer pre-baccalaureate programs. Roughly 20 percent of students attending COD already possess a bachelor’s degree or higher. Student body characteristics report

Students at College of DuPage come from many suburbs within District 502 and students are tied to their surrounding communities through their residence, employment, and commercial endeavors. Students are active on our campus, with over 90 clubs, participating in theatre and athletics on campus, abroad via field studies, in the community, and through local employment.

Courier Advertising Policies


  • All advertising submitted to the Courier is subject to approval and may be revised, rejected, or cancelled at any time.
  • If an advertisement copy reaches the Courier after deadline, the decision to accept and print late copy is at the discretion of the the advertising manager.
  • The Courier shall not be liable for slight changes or typographical errors that do not lessen the value of the advertisement.
  • Responsibility of errors shall be limited to the cost of that portion of space occupied by erroneous content.  The Courier is only responsible for the first insertion.
  • The advertiser, and if applicable, the advertising agency, assume all liability for all content (including text and illustration text). The advertiser, and if applicable, the advertising agency, also assume responsibility for any claims made against the Courier arising from the publication of the advertisement.  Submitting an advertising order to the Courier signifies agreement to this policy.
  • Payment in advance is required for all political advertisements.
  • The advertiser is responsible for obtaining photo releases from any persons whose pictures appear in the advertisement.
  • The Courier reserves the right to insert in any political, partisan, or issue-based advertisement the words, “Paid for by (advertiser’s name)”.
  • The Courier reserves the right to add “Paid Advertisement” to any advertisement.
  • The Courier reserves the right to sell promotional advertising packages at special rates.
  • The Courier reserves the right to revise its advertising rates and conditions set forth on this rate card at any time upon thirty (30) days written notice.
  • A service charge of $25.00 will be added to the advertiser’s account for every check returned to the Courier unpaid by the advertiser’s bank.
  • The Courier is not responsible for lost or stolen artwork
